INSPIRATIONS

Everyone here pictured has inspired me to become better in some way. This list will hopefully expand.

Dan Barrett, lead singer of Have a Nice Life. Not only is he an extremely talented musician, he also taught a hypnosis class that has greatly benefitted me. For this, I find him deeply inspiring. His teachings have helped me directly in becoming a better person.

Alex G Image

Alex G, musician. His music has greatly helped me get through the roughness of recovering from behavioral addiction so far. I'm hoping to have more updates in the future about my recovery, but I know that this man's music has really gotten me through some rough times over the past few months and over the past couple of weeks especially. DSU is one of my favorite albums, and I recommend it to anyone reading this.

Brian Molko Image

Brian Molko, for being unabashedly himself and for the intensity of his lyrics. This is a relatively new inspiration, as I didn't really get too into deeply into Placebo aside from a couple of songs until the later half of this year. I'm in awe of how he's defied peoples' expections and any expectation of gender presentation over the years. The world needs more people like him.

Jean Harlow Image

Jean Harlow, the classic 1930s actress. In the short time that she was here, she displayed grace and kindness to the people she came across. She was a fantastic, funny, and witty actress! Off screen, she was incredibly personable and well read! I wish that she was able to start the family that she wanted to and to become a writer as she wished for. She deserved so much more than life gave her! Something about her is quite inspirational, for me, it's her acting ability and her ability to move through characters in a way that makes her relevant nearly 100 years later!

Last for right now, but most certainly not least, are the people in my real life outside of this website that inspire me to be a better person. For reasons of privacy, I have not named anyone as of now, but there are so many people I've met and people that I'm close to that have inspired me to grow as a human being. Whether it's listening to me when I'm struggling, inspiring the creative half of me (my favorite type of inspiration overall), or making art that I enjoy, there's multiple people that inspire me to keep going. I'm inspired by my friends, anyone that creates weirdcore, the plethora of vaporwave out there, the shoegaze that exists, and the strength exhibited by those around me daily.
